In Iceland there are heavy restrictions for advertising medications. The strict laws dictate what text is allowed and forbidden to appear. This makes it a challenge to advertise new medicine on the market. With this in mind, a decision was made to focus on the imagery. This means that the images – without any text – would have to visually communicate clearly the purpose of each medication advertised.
