Marking 60 years of design education at the Art Academy of Latvia, the aim was to emphasize the procedural nature of design - a way of working and thinking, as well as to look at the heritage and craftsmanship of the department. The inspiration for the anniversary identity, the form of the edition and the graphic solution can be found in the idea of ​​the initial stage of the creative process – sketchpads, collages. Besides, each decade is has its own size notebook.
