The world is full of airports that have been named after famous and important people. For Helsinki Airport, however, all its passengers are equally important, famous or not. That’s why it decided to become the first airport in the world to be named after all its passengers. By altering the official airport sign at the terminal’s main entrance, anyone could add their name to the sign and temporarily name the entire airport after themselves.
