The Voice of Thousands

Life jackets became a symbol for the refugee crisis in Europe. The organisations "Border Free Association" and "The Voice of Thousands" wanted to remove the stigma. To do this, they listened to refugees’ stories about how they used to live and depicted their memories on a very special canvas. Their stories were painted onto life jackets. Those life jackets were exhibited in an orchestrated PR campaign.
