The key objective of this campaign is to raise awareness of the difficulties that autistic people face when engaging in social interaction. Many of them crave social contact, yet they find such situations extremely stressful or outright frightening. Hence, social contact is symbolized by two painted hands, while the depicted animals illustrate a situation of fear.
