This case shows how a local beer brand gained recognition as one of the most relevant brands during the pandemic. Instead of making commercials, Super Bock reused the alcohol from the de-alcoholization process of its alcohol-free beer to produce hand sanitizer, which was donated to hospitals across the country. Then, in a tribute to all health professionals, its alcohol-free beer was rebranded Super Doc, generating record brand equity levels.
