The Munich Philharmonic is an internationally recognized, world-class orchestra with a very distinctive and unique sound. With this in mind, we used this sound to develop the orchestra's new logo. The starting point is a digital waveform of a recording by the orchestra. Using special software, this complex form is greatly simplified. This results in a unique logo form derived from the distinctive sound of the Philharmonic.Or more precisely, an infinite number of forms.
