Vienna made a bold move in the age of social media by taking a stand against online ratings that have a lasting impact on people’s holiday decisions. The Leopold Museum, one of the capital’s most frequented tourism hotspots, and home to one of the world’s most famous art galleries, was used to promote the “Unrating Vienna” campaign. Negative and often ridiculous online ratings of the museum were used to stress the importance of making one’s own decisions when travelling.
