Pi School and the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE) are launching a unique learning program addressed to top creative minds with the goal of developing future models of advertising and design businesses. The Creative Incubator programme is composed of three workshops that will take place in Rome (March), Barcelona (May) and Berlin (September). The results will be presented at the 5th ADCE Festival in November.
The Creative Incubator takes an innovative approach to the debate on the future of the industry and provides a place for creatives to reflect and work on the core challenges of advertising and design organizations. “We are solving tomorrow’s problems, mixing technology, entrepreneurship and creativity”, said Jamshid Alamuti, CEO and Co-Founder of Pi School, who is the Programme Designer and main instructor of the workshops. Participants will ideate, prototype and test viable business models that can respond to the needs of clients and their consumers. They will come up with results to be implemented in their working places.
The first module is starting on the 1st of March at the Pi School villa in Rome. Over three days, participants will be led through the learning process, research and analyses, workshops, labs, and lectures by mentors Jamshid Alamuti, Axel Quack – Strategy Director at Frog Design, Kris Hoet – Head of Innovation at FCB Global, Patrizia Boglione – Strategic and Creative Director at Angelini Design and Luis Villa – Strategy Director at Fjord. Other well-known names such as Fernanda Romano – Founder and Strategy and Creative partner at Malagueta Group and Julio Obelleiro – Co-Founder and CEO at Wildbytes will join the panel for successive workshops in Barcelona and Berlin.
Pi School and ADCE are offering 30 grants per module, covering more than 80% of the total program fees. ADCE members are entitled to an additional 10% discount. Applications are now open.
Reputed creatives such as Ami Hasan – President of ADCE and Chairman of hasan & partners, Johannes Newrkla – CEO at Melicek & Grossebner, Till Diestel – Managing Creative Director at BBDO Berlin, and Zélia Sakhi – Head of Design and Creative Director at Mobiento/Deloitte Digital, form the Advisory Board of the Creative Incubator. The group met last November in Barcelona to identify the Key Focus Areas and generate specific tasks and key questions for the programme.
With artificial intelligence, product and service design and consultancy among this past year’s biggest trends in the creative industry, it is now more relevant that ever to integrate change and innovation as a way to thrive and succeed in the advertising and design industries.
