Although more and more media are adapting to the modern times, in advertising we still find bad practices in terms of equality that show the need to adjust communication to new paradigms. We will review visual and written media that allow us to find guidelines and tools for communication with a gender perspective. Afterwards, we will develop a toolkit on intersectionality that participants can use throughout their careers.

FIDO is a professional platform which main objectives are to raise awareness about the lack of equity in the design sector and to enhance women’s work.

They have developed an international directory featuring over 200 profiles to highlight women’s talent worldwide. This initiative brings together leading researchers in the creative industry and provides innovative tools and training to support the advancement of women designers. Its goal is to serve as a bridge connecting designers, institutions, companies, and organizations.
