“It’s about power, speed and control.” This quote by Austrian bobsleigh pilot Benny Maier works like a reverberant mantra in the film. The four-man bobsleigh takes off. The athletes’ breathing sets the rhythm of the film. To a pumping rhythm, the Volkswagen T-Roc R seems poised to race the four-man bobsleigh. The sound design and composition alone give the film the dynamics that so effectively underpin the analogy of bobsleigh and vehicle.
