“Das Erbe / The Legacy” is a photo book that artistically explores the colonial family history of photographer Anne Schönharting. At the beginning of the 20th century, her Great-grandfather was the administrator of cocoa plantations in what is now Equatorial Guinea and had collected hundreds of objects. After the death of her parents Anne Schönharting found herself confronted with this heritage – and placed it in other contexts for her artistic work.
