Rooted in an Irish understanding of home shaped by exile and emigration. Animation explores how our sense of home becomes defined by relationships, only to be destabilised by absence. Textile banners turn soft, domestic materials into quiet acts of protest. Soft sculpture takes form of an imaginary friend, a comforting presence in the place of those who’ve left. The work remains playful, even in loss, and keeps a hand-drawn and illustrative sensibility through line, colour, and character.
