Palliative care in Latvia is a disgrace. Latvian Radio addressed this issue in their annual charity marathon. “End-of-life care is just as important as childcare!” was the central message of the 152-hour live DJ marathon. All three presidents of the Baltic states visited the studio. Several thought-provoking outdoor TV and radio spots and social media posts were also produced. The marathon raised 438,197 euros – 365% more than in 2018!
