Spring this year, adidas shook German fans with the first-ever pink away kit for the national team. The color choice faced backlash and online discussions for being unmanly, un-German, and untraditional, as well as anti-LGBTQ hate, which adidas couldn't tolerate. With a social media campaign featuring footballers and celebrities, adidas addressed these negative comments, making the kit becoming a symbol of a diverse and tolerant Germany and the best-selling kit ever.
