Czech veterans, dissidents, political prisoners and others opposed to the ruling regime often found themselves in situations where only keeping silent could save their lives. This campaign for the National History Archive, the largest public database of witness stories in Europe, advocates that people should now do the opposite – speak out so that their stories can be preserved for future generations.
