In 1979, Mercedes unveiled its G-Class line and forty years later, its first electric car makes a star debut in “Future 2021”. The film is a nostalgic nod to iconic 70s sci-fi’s, when the future was as whimsical as it was mysterious. Camera angles, set design, SFX, music and more are designed with the limitations (but also innovations) of this time in mind and together, they work towards a film that cheekily plays with the G-Class ethos – #StrongerThanTime.
