Out Of Office–usually just an auto-reply–was the concept of a merch-drop by a design Studio. To promote their pop-up store, the studio transformed the world’s most iconic yet ordinary chair into the Glitter Monobloc–a shimmering symbol of taking time off. The project went viral, was declared as art, featured in Hamburg’s Glitter exhibition & now added to Vienna’s MAK (Museum) collection. And the merch? Completely sold out.
