Plan International is a humanitarian organization that works for girls’ rights. With 75 million children who cannot go to school, one of Plan’s objectives was to take girls out of child labour and forced marriages in order to let them decide about their own futures. The headline “If I could decide” accompanies these images that envision what girls would choose for themselves, thus the water canister and pregnant belly are replaced with books.
