‘Light for the World’ fights preventable blindness in Africa by providing the medical means necessary to cure people suffering from cataracts. To support its cause, research, doctors and patients were consulted. The idea was let the viewer see, through images simulating the loss of visual acuity, a blurry vision and other symptoms, what a person with cataracts experiences.
