Majority of Slovak seniors are overlooked and suffer from a big problem—loneliness. The goal of the League for Seniors was to urge all of us to pay more attention to this issue and to the seniors themselves. Because loneliness of elderly is an extreme problem, we decided to show it in an extreme way. We used the metaphor of solitary confinement and placed it into their everyday life. Result: a strong contrast that aims to motivate us not to exclude seniors from society.
