After the Italian lockdown, BK needed to inform customers of their restaurants' reopening. It had to be brave and newsworthy and consider people's fear of returning to restaurants. Hence, The Social Distancing Whopper, the sandwich that keeps others away from you thanks to its triple quantity of onions. The result surpassed expectations with more than 3 billion media impressions, engagement +98%, +65% in overall sales during the campaign.
