The task was to design a book for the artistic director Hansgünther Heyme, whose stage directorship of the theatre in Pfalzbau ends this year. The book looks back over his 60 years of theatre work, which includes mostly radical and revolutionary stage concepts. The book also documents HGHs last production at the Theater im Pfalzbau: ‘The Epic of Gilgamesh’. The big lettering is used to contrast this small format brevier book with the work of a huge theatre personality – HG Heyme.
