Elders Project is an oral-history initiative preserving the stories of underrepresented American elders. Rooted in the spirit of the 1930s Federal Writers’ Project, it spotlights marginalized voices and lived experience. Since 2022, ten writers have recorded interviews across diverse U.S. communities, collecting interviews and personal mementos that explore identity, place, and migration—ensuring these perspectives endure for future generations.
