The Gira icon system includes symbols for electrical appliances, buildings, rooms, weather conditions, and orientation systems. All of the symbols are based on a uniform grid system. The new Gira icon system characterises the appearance of all Gira products, ranging from switches to room operating devices. The symbols are easy to recognise, even in small images or when shown on monochrome dot matrix displays.
