Handmade illustrations (38 works) for the self written and published children’s book about peaceful moments spent together with grandparents. The ripped paper illustrations were scanned without applying pressure to the scanner’s lid, maximising the 3D effect of the illustrations by the shadows cast by the paper edges. The technique carries a similar idea to the story of the book – enjoying the slow process and creating something special out of very simple materials.
