A Century of Women Voters discusses the life and political environment of Icelandic women voters. It recounts how women carved out a space for themselves to make, create and determine their own lives and that of society as a whole while overcoming the obstacles they found at every turn. The narrative thus revolves around the point at which women became fully-fledged citizens.
