Forgotten today, the Golden Generation was more than a football team. It brought hope and happiness to all Romanians after the fall of communism—winning legendary matches and reaching 3rd in the FIFA World Ranking (currently 45th). To mark 30 years since the ’94 World Cup, the Monument Administration built a landmark celebrating the most iconic goals—capturing the moment the ball hit the net and fans erupted in joy. The campaign inspired millions of Romanians.
