The challenge set by HOCA Foundation, the organisers of Alexandre Farto aka Vhils’ solo exhibition “Debris”, was to gather the artist’s works into a single monograph. EPHEMERA is a tactile book, with textures, volumetric physical elements, different papers and materials. We framed the work with the necessary neutrality and made use of typefaces specifically designed for this book and the artist’s new visual identity, which is explored in its elasticity and plasticity.
