ZEBRA

Zebra is a research group from Murcia, focused on studying rare human diseases using the zebrafish model, which shares 70% of its genome with humans. The objectives have been to understand the importance of zebrafish in biomedical research and correct dissemination errors to gain greater institutional and public support.rnIn terms of design, a strong concept has been developed to unify the entire project: structuring a cohesive visual identity through a sub-brand system; creating a compositional grid applicable to both digital and print environments; visualizing data and results through interactive digital content on a responsive website and printed content in a dossier; developing a communication strategy to reach the target investor audience. Finally, a communication action is planned, including the dossier and website to engage the public, along with a promotional piece enclosed in packaging designed exclusively for this object, containing a small fold-out brochure with relevant information. This piece creates a high-impact experience for the investors who receive it, serving as the conclusion to the entire strategy aimed at the investor audience.rnIn this way, we have created a product from scratch, developing its naming, brand, and communication. Its promotion has been executed, and the relevant analyses conducted to meet the briefing and address the project’s communication needs. We have experimented with form, image, and text, achieving graphic results that break away from the typical communication style within the scientific field, creating new conceptual narratives through an open language that the audience can easily understand.rnAdditionally, it has a social purpose: supporting Murcian research that strives to find the causes of rare human diseases, ultimately enabling the development of drugs specifically for those diseases.rn
