W5 | From Change Talking to Change Making
By CIID with Alessia Rullo

In a world filled with buzzwords like innovation, social responsibility, creativity, ethics, customer experience, sustainability, and more, we often see a lot of talk about change, but much less action. This pattern is noticeable across corporations, institutions, society, and even in our personal lives. Talking, posting, and texting have become a comfortable substitute for real, tangible change.

In this workshop, we’ll take a thought-provoking approach to explore the difference between Change Talking and Change Making. Using Design for Digital Wellbeing as our framework, we’ll delve into the boundaries of human-centered innovation during the fourth industrial revolution, while reflecting on the experiences we truly want to create. How can we shift from discussing change to driving measurable behavioral transformation for digital wellbeing?
