Swiss Life (since 1857) is Switzerland’s oldest life insurance group. To draw attention to this, Swiss Life’s longest policyholder – Hans Knecht, whose policy has been active for 100 years – was honoured on his 101st birthday by having the original front page that featured on the day he was born reprinted in his favourite newspaper – the ‘Neue Zürcher Zeitung’. It was the first time in the paper’s history that it didn’t run its current front page.
