At the height of the ‘80s, Austro-Pop and Neue Deutsche Welle, a band called Minisex stormed the local clubs and charts with a song that glorifies driving a car for Wiener Linien (Vienna Public Transport). The OG of Minisex himself turned his own legendary car anthem on its head and praised the Metro instead. Nostalgia and a progressive message created tons of earned media and helped unify two generations to one cause: climate protection.
