Approximately 1.4 million Ukrainians have lost their homes after the annexation of Crimea in 2014 and ongoing counter-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine. rnScattered throughout the country, they are often blamed for reluctance to defend own land, letting war fester and fleeing afterwards. rnTo prevent the stigmatization and promote empathy we created a story on how anyone’s life can instantly change to opposite – beyond one’s will and ability to prevent it.
