Patarei Sea Fortress, a classical 19th century fortress (later on turned into a prison) on the Tallinn seafront is about to get transformed into an archway to all things new and exciting. Such project – the most ambitious and inspiring real estate development in town in a decade or two – can only come to you with an identity to match the ambition level. Starring a distinctive, custom-made typeface – Patarei Sans – inspired by the architecture of the fortress, what else.
