Hundreds of thousands of women in Austria live with violence. They have learned to remain silent out of fear. And society also remains silent because violence is a taboo. SIOLENCE, unique in its communication, focuses on this oppressive silence. And breaks this silence by having seven affected women share their stories in an interactive exhibition by and with star photographer Elfie Semotan. She has approached the victims and the oppressive silence with sensitivity.
