In the beginning of 21st century, only 0.7% of Latvia is covered by semi natural grasslands, which contain up to 50 species of wildlife per each square metre. This is more than in one square metre of tropical rainforest. To remind the value of semi natural grasslands we took a famous Latvian painting depicting these grasslands more than 100 years ago and we did everything to the painting that has been done to the semi natural grasslands in over a century.
