The first museum in the world that opened its doors in anticipation of closing them. And recycling them. An ephemeral space entirely of plastic built next to Spain’s most visited museum, the Reina Sofía. We showed with facts and scientific rigor that the problem is not plastic, but what we do, or don’t do, with it. After closing (17 May – World Recycling Day), the entire museum was recycled to become its own merchandising and a book telling its story.
