Due to other current crises the inhumane circumstances in Iran are often forgotten about. That is why on the first anniversary of Jina Masha Amini’s death, Amnesty International took a stand against oblivion. With „I ran from Iran“ prominent members of the Iranian diaspora brought to light their experiences with flight, persecution and the lack of fundamental freedoms. This way the dramatic human rights situation in Iran found its way into the media once again.
