The Uncensored Playlist

Many websites in the world’s most censored countries are blocked by governments, but music streaming platforms are freely accessible. This online loophole was used to evade censorship. Five acclaimed journalists from 5 repressive countries were turned into musicians and their censored articles into lyrics, which were uploaded to music streaming platforms as uncensored pop songs. On World Day Against Cyber Censorship all the songs came together as The Uncensored Playlist.
