Bewegtes Land

‘Bewegtes Land’ is a theatre performance for passing trains. The ‘stage’ was a 30km-long stretch between the cities of Naumburg and Jena in Thuringia, Germany. Hugging the River Saale, the route passes tiny villages, imposing shell limestone cliffs, castles, meadows and forests. The audience were regular train passengers who watched the performers, situated along the tracks at 40 different locations.
